How Do Salt Lamps Work?
Minrosa Salt Lamps provide a simple, natural way to increase the negative ions in your home. The heated salt crystal pulls water molecules from the air to its surface, the salt goes into the solution of water, neutralizes any positive ions (and the attached pollution) and emits the neutralized molecule back into the environment. So these unique natural rocks clean the air creating a healthy home to live in.
Salt is “hygroscopic,” which means that it attracts moisture and humidity. In areas of high humidity the salt will release moisture. To avoid this leave the lamp turned on to create warmth. A dimmed lamp will provide enough heat to stop moisture build up. If not being used for a long period place lamp in a plastic bag.
